Nepali Single Quilt
Our beautiful Nepali Single Quilts are exquisitely handmade in Nepal from thickly wadded natural cotton to give them a substantial, weighty, wonderfully cosy feel. Each one is block printed and bound in bright pink or blue cotton and completed with a sheer muslin cover which can be removed and washed. The muslin outer layer makes these quilts extremely soft and they can be used as an extra top layer for added warmth or on their own, duvet-style.

All of our fabrics are block printed by hand by our artisans and cooperatives in India and Nepal.
The generous fill also makes them suitable as a play surface on hard and carpeted floors

FAQs
Can you use the quilt without the muslin cover? Absolutely! These quilts look fab with or without the cover, just bear in mind that the quilt can only be spot cleaned by hand
What age range are these quilts suitable for? First bed upwards! These quilts are real heirloom pieces and quickly become firm favourites.
Can you gift wrap quilts? Yes! We roll them before wrapping in our recycled cotton paper and them tie them with ribbon. They then go into one of our natural paper envelopes for shipping
The art of block printing
Block printing sits at the heart of everything we make. Each design begins as a hand-carved wooden block, carefully inked and pressed onto cloth by skilled artisans using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. The process is slow and deliberate, allowing the ink to sink into the fabric and giving every piece its own subtle variations and character. Printed in small batches on soft, breathable cotton, no two muslins or blankets are ever exactly the same for a quiet celebration of craftsmanship, imperfection, and the beauty of things made by hand.
