Charcoal Bolster Pillows
Our Charcoal bolster pillows are nursery essentials - use them for support when feeding, as a bolster in an armchair at story time, in a cot or moses basket or just as a lovely decorative accessory on a bed. The options are endless! All of our bolsters have soft removable covers which are block printed by hand in 8 different designs and soft colours. We love these as everyday staples but they also make wonderful gifts.
Good to know
Our Ruffle and Bolster Pillows have been designed to use the small off-cuts of cloth from our other pieces. This means minimal wastage and in fact we're on a mission to get to zero fabric waste.
All of our fabrics are block printed by hand by our artisans and cooperatives in India and Nepal.

The art of block printing
Block printing sits at the heart of everything we make. Each design begins as a hand-carved wooden block, carefully inked and pressed onto cloth by skilled artisans using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. The process is slow and deliberate, allowing the ink to sink into the fabric and giving every piece its own subtle variations and character. Printed in small batches on soft, breathable cotton, no two muslins or blankets are ever exactly the same for a quiet celebration of craftsmanship, imperfection, and the beauty of things made by hand.
